Investment Analyst
Reporting to the Head of Investments
Roles and responsibilities:
Investigate new products/investment alternatives (real estate funds, joint ventures, etc.) and make recommendations for action to the HOI and management team. Manage the outputs of external marketing consultants. Review contract agreement terms proposed by prospective clients, prospective business partners and real estate asset owners.
Manage the outputs of external consultants for market research, risk management, asset valuation, and cost management services to meet the IRR and Yield expectations of the investor and the individual project deliverables. Solicit proposals for all relevant external consultancy services, provide recommendations for appointment of and creates professional services agreements for these consultants. Have the agreements reviewed by appropriate legal service providers before execution of these agreements.
Manage the Cost Report for the investment projects with co-opted assistance from the external PM and external cost consultant. Manage the fee accounts against fees set out in all professional services agreements for all external consultants. Ensure that early warning signs are flagged. In conjunction with the Investment Analyst Technical and where required by the investment project structuring, review all payment valuations with external PM and the Cost
The ideal candidate will have / be:
University level degree in Finance from an internationally recognized institution.
Over three years experience in the financial and business modeling aspects of real estate development.
A thorough knowledge of the real estate market in the GCC region and, in particular, the Bahrain market and all local regional and international financial/regulatory construction standards and practices.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
